Automechanika Frankfurt - Thanks 🙌🏻

2024-09-18

Automechanika Frankfurt 2024 is over. Anwa-Tech want to thank you for visiting our workshop equipment stands and for following social media updates on Facebook and LinkedIn. Below, you can read about the most important product news from FASEP, NITROMAC, ProGear, and SNIT

Battery-powered lifts from SNIT

The SNIT Hydraulic presented jacks for passenger cars and heavy-duty trucks, pit jacks, jacking beams, hydraulic presses, workshop cranes and transmission jacks. How about breaking news ? The top of the top news was the SNIT battery-powered truck lift. Some people say it is the e-lift. Probably they are right! It runs on a battery. For Automechanika tests, we used our 18V Makita driver-drill battery, and it worked great. You can lift anywhere, without the long air hose behind you. The battery also allowed the manufacturer to add LED lights, making it easier to work in the dark. The battery-powered range now includes pit jacks and jacking beams as well. Additionally, the hydraulic presses now come in new 230V power supply versions, with a modern green colour to understand the difference from the standard air hydraulic models.

NITROMAC wheel repair bestseller

Once again focused on the bestselling RS30WL-3S model. In Poland, we use it for rim straightening training. This machine has been our number one for many years. We're happy that, despite being on the European market for so long, our dealers still showcase it to their customers with the same enthusiasm.

TreadPlus drive-through Tire Measurement System

Along with the well-known ProGear wheel aligners, you could check out the TreadPlus drive-through system for measuring tire tread wear. It gives multi-point tread depth readings across the whole tire width, making it easy to spot uneven wear and the need for alignment repair. The drive-through setup can be installed right at the workshop entrance.

RFID System in FASEP wheel balancers

Italian manufacturer FASEP presented their main lines of wheel balancers, tire changers and alignment machines. They also had a column lift made by FASEP. But the real game-changer was the V788 wheel balancer, which has RFID receivers that can read data from the tire's RFID tag. At the Automechanika, the balancer showed how it can read, display, and save the full tire name and size in its system during the balancing process. MICHELIN 235/50 R19 103V XL TL LATITUDE SPORT 3 VOL GRNX MI - this is what it shows you now, when you balance the tire. There was a lot of excitement about how this data could be used, especially for fleet tire management, inventory tracking, and tire pre-order strategies.
